Since the schools have closed due to COVID-19, teachers have had to adjust their instruction so that it would be possible for students to continue to learn at home. My classes were meant to learn Revit and architecture during this time, but unfortunately this was not possible while students were not in class.

Instead, students learned a more accessible CAD program called SketchUp, which is mainly used for casual 3D modeling, but can also be used for more advanced users. Students have also learned some beginning Python programming to increase their computer skills and proficiency.

Question for CAC Members
If schools remain closed in the fall and e-learning has to take place, what skills do you suggest students learn to prepare them for a job/internship?
Parents of students in AED, what has worked so far about this e-learning experience, and what could be improved?
